• La Malmaison

Built in 1863 on the plans of the architects Vianey and Blondel, the Grand Hôtel was inhabited until the late 1950s, demolished and rebuilt in 1963. Residence of the Grand Hôtel at the time of its splendour, the Malmaison is the only remaining pavilion of the original complex and became the setting for art exhibitions in 1945. Renovated in 1993, the Art Centre La Malmaison now hosts major exhibitions of contemporary art.

• Musée Bonnard

The only museum in the world dedicated to the work of Pierre Bonnard, a leading figure of the 19th and 20th century art. The museum is naturally located in the heart of the town of Le Cannet, which inspired the artist with its landscapes and its southern light.

• Musée Picasso

In 1925, the Grimaldi Castle was bought by the city of Antibes and became the Grimaldi Museum. In September 1945, Pablo Picasso went there and in 1946, Romuald Dor de la Souchère suggested that he use a part of the castle as a workshop.

• Musée National Fernand Léger

A few months before his death, in 1955, Fernad Léger acquired the Mas St André, located at the foot of the village of Biot. In his horticultural field, Nadia Léger, his widow, and Georges Bauquier, his close collaborator, decided to create a museum to pay tribute to him and promote knowledge of his work. The building project was designed by the architect André Svetchine, while the park was entrusted to the landscape architect Henri Fisch.

• Musée d'Art Classique

Discover, at the entrance of the old village of Mougins, how the beauty of the ancient world has influenced neoclassical, modern and contemporary art.

• Fondation Maeght

The Fondation Marguerite et Aimé Maeght is France’s most important private art foundation and among the world-leading cultural institutions. It was created by Aimé and Marguerite Maeght, a visionary couple of publishers and art dealers, who represented and were friends with some of the most important artists of the 20th century.
